VMC Group CPF Fan and Motor Inertia Bases are concrete pouring forms consisting of structural channel perimeter frame, reinforcing steel, equipment mounting templates with anchor bolts and seismic spring isolators with height saving brackets. Spring deflections of 1" - 5" are available. CPF Fan and Motor Inertia Bases are designed for use in fan arrangements of 2, 3, 4, 9 and 10, single width or double width configurations. CPF Fan and Motor Inertia Bases are available in various thicknesses depending on the customer requirements. When CPF Fan and Motor Inertia Bases are filled with concrete, they become an inertia base and provide an effective means to isolate vibration and limit the motion of fans.
The isolator housings are identical in height within each series and come with easily accessible bolt holes for simplified installation. An elastomeric acoustical cup eliminates high frequency vibration, while color-coded springs permit ease of identification of load capacity. Spring housings have internal adjustments for use in most seismic and wind applications. Their rugged steel housing is designed to handle high wind and high seismic forces up to 2.0g.
CPF Fan and Motor Inertia Bases are rectangular in size and are engineered to support fan bases. The seismic isolator housings are outboard with the perimeter of the inertia base.
